conflicts, confusion, what wonder!
Every writer one time or the other scour his subconscious for a perfect plot. One in which the attention of the reader is absolutely trapped. If he thus find such plot, conflicts wouldn't be out of it. However to what extent must conflict be used in a plot? How is it to be free of ambiguity which often lead to confusion. How? Everytime a piece is written the writer of such piece should review the content of such piece with the eye of a reader. Plots in which a secret is kept right from the begining and the reader as been hinted at the existence of such secret and so he becomes curious. That is good because he is interested in your secret and he will read more to get your secret but not forever. In a situation in which you later get to a point in your story where the viability of such secret is no more trusted may be because one or too casts that are suppose to know the existence of such secret denies its existence. What of if their was never a secret but an ignorance. What if the all we seek is just one truth, not a secret. Does it all make sense?
Conflicts are to be used carefully so you won't frustrate your reader with complications. If by the middle of a piece the readers know nothing other than your list of casts and their characters plus the set up. If everything is still a mystery midway through your piece, then you might actually end up confusing the readers especially if the entangling happens suddenly. However some little confusion wouldn't hurt. It is the habit of some notable writers to include false narrators in their piece and they'll mislead you with lies. However false narration might not confuse you at all just because the narrator is so much counting on your ignorance to grab your attention with the lies he is saying. How will you feel if a devilish person narrates to you as an angel and kept using words of the saints and quotes from the bible. Or if the narrator who is just twelve tells you about his first sex. Confused? Sometimes casts creates some amazing world of conflicts and they so much confuse. So be careful!
